Established in 1982, North East Scotland Highland Pony Enthusiasts Society (NESHPES) was formed when a group of Highland breeders developed the idea of bringing like minded people together to share their enthusiasm for the Highland pony and its part breds.
From that day on NESHPES has prided itself in encouraging people from all disciplines and interests – from large breeders to one pony owners – to enjoy a range of activities regardless of ability or background.
The NESHPES AGM will be held on Thursday 28th January 2010 at 7.30pm in the Burnett Arms Hotel, Banchory. All NESHPES members are warmly invited to attend, and we will be looking for new Committee members!
Please contact info@neshpes.co.uk and let us know if you will be coming along.
As a club we seek to provide a network of friendship and fun through our various events and aim to promote the versatility of our popular native breed throughout the area.
The club area covers from the River Spey to the River Esk, however we warmly welcome interested people from outwith the area.
Congratulations to the NESHPES Stock Judging teams for their fantastic performance at the Highland Pony Stock Judging event at the Royal Highland Show on 26 June. Team Spey came 2nd, with Team Esk in a very creditable joint 4th. Well done to all!
