Our first Spring Performance Show was born as a result of a survey of NESHPES members. The first show took place at Fountain Equestrian Centre, near Dyce, in April 2008. The venue was chosen as it provided indoor facilities in case of April showers. However we were met with a stunning day – with many people returning home with a touch of sun burn!
The inaugural show was a great success – with in hand, ridden, dressage, working hunter and show jumping classes as well as part-bred classes well attended. It also proved to be a great show case for much of the equipment the Club has recently invested in thanks to the aid of “Awards for All”.
The Club is eager to see the show grow and become an established date on the Highland pony calendar and would like to thank everyone who travelled from far and wide to the show for their support. We hope to see you all again in 2009.
